Miller releases EnPak A60 solution for medium-duty work trucks

Miller Electric Mfg. has announced the release of the new EnPak A60 power system for Class 5 to 7 trucks, which provides integrated multiprocess welding, battery charge/crank assist, compressed air, hydraulic power and electric power. The company says that the system eliminates the need to carry additional equipment, maximizing available payload space. The new EnPak A60 includes a turbocharged diesel engine, which delivers high torque at lower speeds. This delivers performance in every environment so operators have the power they need to work anywhere. It also features an LCD control panel, a dashboard with performance indicators, auto start/stop, and Auto-Speed technology that automatically adjusts engine speed to match compressed air, battery charge and weld demands.

Autocar has delivered its first battery-electric terminal tractor, the E-ACTT, to its customer, Old Dominion Freight Line. Autocar delivered the electric terminal tractor to Old Dominion Freight Line’s facility in Rialto, California for driver orientation before the international freight line deploys the truck into the field.

Autocar, an original equipment manufacturer, announced the purpose-built E-ACTT in 2021. The E-ACTT is equipped with a 210-kWh modular battery pack that can last up to 22 hours on a single, full charge. The E-ACTT uses the industry standard CCS-1 compliant DC fast charging with charging up to 150 kW. Autocar utilizes liquid cooled/heated batteries.

Lightning eMotors, a provider of zero emissions, medium-duty commercial vehicles and electric vehicle technology for fleets, announced it has entered into a strategic partnership with GoBolt, a sustainable logistics provider, to manufacture 170 all-electric cargo vans and box trucks over the next 12 months.
